Sick of eye shadow that is crooked, not dark enough, and doesn't extend to the reaches of your eyelids? Let us help you fix some of these problems with our useful tips and a video to show you how to use them.
Secret #1 - Blending your eye shadow is the most important part of applying eye shadow. The easiest way to accomplish this is by using three totally seperate colors. These colors should consist of a base color which is very light, a highligher, and the main lid color. The secret is to start lighter and then go darker. You should apply the colors in this order; base color, then the main lid color, lastly apply the highlight color and make sure you apply these lightly as you don't want to have to start over.
Secret #2 - Too much drama looks really bad and lets face it, what guy likes drama? Don't make the mistake of applying shadow ON the browbone!
Secret #3 - Match the color of shadow to your eye. If you have brown eyes, go for a brown shadow. Its also a good idea to contrast different colors to make your eyes really pop. For example, blue shadow with dark brown eyes.
Secret #4 - Eye shimmer is fun and makes a fun effect on your eyes, but it also highlights lines and wrinkles. Instead of applying shimmer to the actual eye lid, apply it to the browbone and you will love the results!
